IND, GT Motoring, and Project 808 went to Santa Barbara for BimmerFest, and had a very warm welcome. We spent the weekend hanging out with the car enthusiasts who were in California for the show, all the way from kids who just bought their first E21 or E30, up to some of the heaviest hitters in the industry. Santa Barbara’s polo field was a perfect location, and the restaurants and bars we found in the city made for some of the most fun we’ve ever had at a BMW gathering.
GT Motoring had the extra pleasure of driving to California all the way from Chicago! Driving across the country in a brand new E92 M3 with KW Coilovers and an Amuse Ericsson bumper is really an impressive feat.
It was a huge pleasure to hang out with people that I’ve admired for years like Karl at ActiveAutowerke, who’s experience in this business makes every meeting a lesson to a younger company like ours; Terrence at Nitto, who has stood behind us for two years now, and allowed us to display our version of the new M3 to the BimmerFest public; Peter from Vorsteiner, who’s also supported us literally since our inception; Chad Pino, who’s been a supporter of ours all year, Vinh, who’s car turned out absolutely perfect; Danni from Brembo, and so so many others.
