If anything the daily driving feels pretty wasteful. My commute is a grind and the car is just stuck in stop and go traffic. There is nothing fun about it. Both the performance of the car in general and the race parts kind of die a slow death doing the commute. I'd much rather be doing the commute in something like the Mazda 3 I had before. But if I only get one car in the driveway I'll deal with what feels like the waste in commuting to get to have fun on the track. Outside of feeling like I'm wasting the performance of the car commuting it is a really nice and refined car to be in. So that's enjoyable and it's got all the creature comforts.
