Get a winter beater, save the M3 for decent weather (when the nuts are careening around corners on bald summer tires in the snow) and save the money for your exotic. Taking on 2 payments at the same time isn't always a great idea, and there is something romantic(?) about having a cheap car that you can take/park anywhere without worrying about a door ding.
