This question resulted from thinking about how to use a space saver spare on the new M3. I have tried one (17") on the front and it doesn't fit, even with a 15mm spacer--brakes are too big. So I wondered if, in the case of a flat on the front, one could put a rear wheel/tire on the front and put the space saver on the rear. The handling might be pretty funky--different diameters at each front wheel and at each rear wheel--but it might get you where you're going...at significantly reduced speed.

God bless,
Tom
