Thanks for posting this trip - and awesome is not even an adequete description for this trip. That is a ton of driving in a few days, even in M3s.

I have been to most of the places you went, and I was in Sooke and the Qualicum area just a month ago. I did not know that the road from Port Renfrew to Cowichan was paved, that makes a great circle drive now.

I live in Kelowna, so don't get over to the Island that much, but every time that I do, I like it over there. Maybe retire there later.....
