You can def get an x pipe, filter and pulleys for under 2K if you buy used.
A filter new is only $100
Pulleys are $300
An x pipe used should run ~1000 +/- for the most part. Someone was selling an MXP quad resonated catless yesterday for $600.
Right there is only 1K...not bad for 35-40 crank hp. Certainly is the most bang for your buck youre going to get with this car. Yes a supercharger gives you 120 hp, but for 8K...plus Ive never been a proponent of putting FI on a car that didnt already come with it from the factory.
So yea, you can get that type of power for that amount of money. Its not the easiest task but certainly doable.
