Sirius tuners are built-in into the OEM HU (order Sirius from factory only) or the iDrive unit (standard)
from MY2010-on. Meaning: you cannot install one, there is no pre-wire, and no software support for an external tuner.
Enabling codes activation required. Contact forum vendor BimmerTech for details on activation.

The dealer looked up my VIN # and said that my car is prewired for siruis, so it should be a go, however....
The module part numbers are different for both cars and pre vs. post LCI, wondering if this matters or not?
