ps: torque means it can pull stuff (including itself). hp means how fast it can pull stuff (including itself). sure a lot of torque gives advantage to average HP under the curve, but M3 has virtually flat torque curve with aggressive gearing which keeps it in the power band.

I agree completely, hp = torque X revs, and is a better way to measure performance in this situation. And lets not forget, a 335d with a tune was compared to a heavily modded NA m3 as well, not one with 414 hp.
