came from the 335i, I knew the tool has a large fan base. But I was told the ability to code was very limited. It wouldn't do any the advanced coding like video in motion and stuff. At least this was still the case when I still had my car( 2010). But it does read and clear BMW unique codes and shadow codes(tuner codes) which is a great tool for tuned 335 who want factory warranty work.
Seems to be the professional would be a waste if you don't plan to use it on multiple cars.
