And I'm particularly interested in '08s, since those are the cars more prone to bearing damage (although several '11s are on that boat too). Vanos and idle valve are high on my list too, as they're not nearly as serious as a bearing problems, but pretty darn expensive to tackle on our own. Next in line is all the electronic crap (every option here), which has a lot of gremlins, and it's very difficult to diagnose sometimes. Imagine having to pay $75/hr for diagnostics and freaking dealer can't find what's wrong? THAT also scares me about no warranty, since there's only 1 dealer 300 miles around. Good day gang.
My local Northern Calif dealer charges $195/hr. for labor.
