I'm sorry but last time I checked the guys at AMS, Buschur racing, Norris Design etc... weren't having serious transmission issues and they were making plenty more than this GT-R, granted... it was a built one but still not even at a fraction of the cost to rebuild a stock transmission out of a GT-R

AMS isn't using a stock transmission. It's using a modified one built just for drag racing and drag racing only. Do you know how much a Shepherd Racing Dog Box tranny costs? How can you make the assumption that it is a "fraction" of the cost of a GT-R transmission?
Z06s do not have to worry about the high stress of AWD which are known to induce much more stress on the transmission then FWD/RWD setups.
Oh and GTFO of GT-R threads unless you know what the hell you are talking about.
