im going to try the check valve route as someone on here said they had repaired 2 vehicles this way... the new check valves have arrived as of today.
i'm expecting them to be installed tomorrow.

I saw someone above hinting that it's only tuned cars with this issue. My car was not tuned until after it was fixed.
