I have SSII, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. The amazing thing about a silver car is that even when dirty, it still looks good. Given the predominant weather in your locale, I think it is a clear choice, as long as you like the look.
I've acquired way too many cars over the years, and I always experiment with different colors, but I always find myself coming back to some variant of silver.
