Your up north friends can appreciate the seat warmers and the auto wipers that's for sure! Amazing how stable the car is, even at high speed. I only took my e46 325i up to 180 km/h once for a short stretch, but even there it was solid as a rock. These cars are made to go!
Glad you got out, from the sounds of it you're a hard working guy, so you need to change the scenery every now and then.
I'm busting my ass right now, but in mid-November we (me, wife and little 2 girls) head down for a four-day Disney cruise and a drive over to Naples in a rental 300 to see my Mom (hope it's still there!).
Anyway, I'm sure you're glad you had a nice trip, 'cause you can't be having much fun now! Hope it gets back to normal soon!
And you're right, I wouldn't know where to begin with Hip Hop!
