1) Remove new controller
2) Install old controller
3) Tell dealer that your car is acting up because of "xxx" -search the forum for SIBs that require software updates. For example, if you have M-DCT then complain about slow shifting. That should be enough for a software update.

As stated before several times, a
dealer update cannot be performed if OEM parts not factory installed in your production-build car are present.
