I never get tired of reading about traffic violators that seem to think getting out of a ticket based on not telling the truth is OK. The right to fight the ticket is part of the few rights Americans still have but what exactly is the point of fighting a ticket when you are guilty?

There is always some elaborate story and someone will eventually tell you to get an attorney, move your court date a few times, cop suck or whatever. Truly a waste of law enforcement recourses and court time, cops that should be on the road are dragged into court for speeders that can't accept the punishment for the offense.

It's your right so go get your sliver of the Constitution but next time you get a ticket and wonder why it takes months or even years to get legitimate cases to trial .... remember you needed to fight that speeding ticket along with the other 10's of thousands of other guilty speeders in the hopes your dishonesty would save you a few dollars
