it is based on the elise. The chassis is the same and the dimension is pretty identical. I was in LA visiting my brother when i stopped by the Tesla dealership. Sat in the car, checked it out. Just wouldn't want to spend 100k on that particular car.
Even the starshield they use is the same for both Manufacturers.
The dealership was nice though. It's def. niche market for the urban hollywoodian.
