You can also ask for a sound check and not get a strike if you do go over. They will explain that in the morning driver's meeting. That's what I recommend doing if you aren't sure if you will pass sound or not without lifting.

Can you explain the sound check process a little further and what a "strike" means? I've never been through this before so I'm a newbie. Thanks!
