Any beeping going on? Motherboard lights coming on? If fans are spinning and lights are on then the PSU is probably ok. Next step is to start pulling 100% unnecessary parts.
If you have 2 sticks of RAM pull 1 and try it with that, if still no luck then try the other one alone. Unplug the hard drive and disc drive.
Reset the BIOs using the motherboard jumpers or reset button(you'll have to check your manual because each board is different)
Try a different video card. Preferably something with a different interface than what you are using currently.
