I'm in FL and the roads here are decent -- but I went with the tire/wheel protection (and paid a bit more than $800 too...that's a good deal you're getting), due to the peace of mind. They're not going to repair a rim, because if its curbed, you get no help, so the only way the wheel protection would come into play is if the rim were badly bent/damaged beyond repair. The PS2s are $500 from the dealer + mounting/balancing -- Also remember that our cars don't have jacks/spares, so for me the peace of mind that if I get a flat I just have to call BMW and they'll come get me, replace my tire at the closest dealership, and get me on my way, it's worth it to me.
