Interesting point about the BMW Assist thing, i'll speak to the dealer and insurance company about that.
I agree, I have taken out GAP insurance that covers the car for the first 3 years.
The only reason I’m considering a tracking system is that the insurance company have said they will reduce my annual premium by £500 if i have a GPS based tracking system fitted.
At present I’m learning toward Trackstar which is operated by TrafficMaster although I’d quite like one where I can view the cars location and movement history from my own PC - heard too many stories of technicians taking customers cars for a blast while there in for servicing!
