TBH... since you went to an OEM iOS4
I would say you shouldn't try to jailbreak

tethered JB sucks

To get your phone working:
if u want to attempt a JB again..
Enter DFU mode (you seem to be in it already)
Download the Sinful Custom ipsw
do an option restore using that ipsw

now, if that stillll fails
then it seems your only bet is to get back on OEM OS4

DFU mode->Restore normally using apple's ipsw

if you had a mac, you could try quickpwn to enter DFU mode easier

error 1600 usually related to a bad ipsw or one that is incompatible to your iPhone (whether it's due to software or hardware, or just a plain bad ipsw)
