Very unlikely mid-year. On occasion they will roll out some new tech thoughout the lineup mid-model-year, but I am not aware of anything like that coming in the next few months.
As for changes or deletions of features and colors - no.
For MY2013 (which is not yet confirmed by BMW but is all but certain to be coming next July), you may see some further package simplifications and probably some new special aesthetic packages or a special model. Nothing performance related though, save for the not-for-North-America "M3 CSL".
