Yeah from what I've been told, that's a big step to already have your TS/SCI. I guess I always just took that step for granted. I should also re-emphasize that I can only speak from the perspective of someone coming from my avenue of approach; I'm not too up-to-par on what approach a career civilian would take, but I've definitely heard what you posted is a great way to get things started.
