Just my .02. I am a white American married guy that has dated white and asian girls.
I have a very good friend that is Indian. He can not marry and Indian girl because he is to Americanized. He can not marry a non-indian girl because it would disapoint his family... He is essentially in a no marry situation.
It is my opinion that people that will not marry/date a person of a different race than themselves is NOT racist. Its just a cultural issue that people have to accept.
I think you are fortunate to find that you are not compatible with this person so quickly. The up-side is that it did not cost you money, time, or a relationship. I do not think you should hold this against them though. Dating leads to marraige, familys, etc. This is the ONE area that I think people should accept that people prefer their own race when it comes to marraige. I do not think its wrong. It does not mean your heart does not get broken either.
