SmartyCam HD does not have an internal ECU interface, so to connect to the OBDII port, you will either 1) add an ECU bridge, or 2) add an AiM Solo DL.
Solo DL allows you to see lap times and other relevant data in real time in your car, while SmartyCam HD only records them for viewing post-race/session.
