like i said, one of the problems. not saying its a huge or main problem.
I would like to know the real reason why they are so quiet. I would be kind of shocked people buying a M model cars want there engine quiet to the point you need to run sound through speakers. i think there is more to it. maybe increase of government regulations. Or they had a hard time making the engine loud enough.
listen go to youtube, watch videos. I remember my buddy put eisenmann mufflers on a E60 m5. and that V10 screamed. the eisenmann on the new M5 is still quiet.
its common knowledge that turbos CAN make a car quieter. BTW.
