The moral of the story is that yes, I need a back seat so it's really E90 or E92. I drove an E90 M3 today and for some reason it felt quieter and softer than my E92 why I cannot explain.
I guess im trying to justify spending an extra 12k on the same car. Which is tougher to do in practice than in theory. I have gotten great prices on the new car and trade in value for my car but even still I just can't get myself to pull the trigger right now.
Any other options, or is it just C63 and M3? I love the Cayman but it seems to unpractical for me at the moment.
