i believe you have to wait at lease 30second after you arm the alarm before you can wave ur hands and set it off without programming it at the dealership.
i installed mine and havent had a chance to get it program yet but my Clown Nose blink and alarm goes off if someone sticks there hand in after 30sec its been armed.
