Have you tried calling Performance Technic in Pleasanton? I know a lot of folks from SF or the South Bay who go to PTech to get maintenance, mods, and track prep done.
PTech has factory-trained BMW master technicians (not only a tuner shop, but full repair/service/custom engine swaps). In addition to preparing customer cars for the track and hosting private track days, they race in US Touring Car Championship (their team is sponsored by BMW of Concord, Dinan, Brembo, etc.).
