My grandfather has a 2012 S80. It's a luxury car and no sports sedan. The seats are super comfortable. The steering is light and isolated from the suspension. It firms up at speed or when going around turns. The suspension soaks up bumps without being harsh or floaty. It's the perfect highway cruiser. The voice interface is good and controls just about everything.
I'm guessing it's not too far from how the S60 felt. The interiors of Volvo's newer cars are almost identical. At least the control interfaces are.
Volvo's are great cars, but I can't see getting an S60 over a 3 series unless you value luxury over performance.
