Just posting a long term update (sorry for all you old bump haters.
)
I switched from the JEGS because they failed after two Northeast years or so and near the end they could not hold the flap in place and would ting-ting down the road. I have had the QTP valves on for two winters now, and although a lot more expensive, they're great. No dinging at idle and no issues with corrosion. so far, they're the winner.
Hopefully I can get 3-4 years out of them.
After 8 years, still a great mod! I'm glad to see so many others enjoying it (and versions of..)!
