A warning to anyone looking for new tires. I just had a horrible experience at
Expert Auto/Laguna Tires in Laguna Hills. I had my rear tires replaced by them earlier today and they damaged my stock 19" rims . There are clear scuffs/indentations coinciding with their mounting hardware.
One rim even has scratch marks/rash on the face of the rim - looks like they laid it face down on the ground. The owner/manager is a big A-hole and stated that it's impossible for his machinery to damage rims, that he does tire work for Irvine BMW and never had any issues, etc. Of course, he was unwilling to compensate me in any way.
I chose this place based on positive forum feedback. If you're thinking of getting your tires here, I would look somewhere else.
On a separate note, my m3 is my first leased car. For those of you in the know, how lenient is BMW with regard to allowable wheel damage??
