I was in the same predicament, the same 3 cars. After studying the cars, I narrowed it down to the AMG and the E90 M3. After comparing interiors and doing my homework, there was no question which one was the clear winner. Another reason I steered away from the AMG was the scare they have of the head bolts breaking and slinging in the head.
I've owned the M3 for almost 2 months now. I love every minute of it. It did take me 6-8 weeks to find the one I got. I had to have it shipped from AZ to NC but it was EXACTLY the car I wanted. IF there's one thing i've learned in life, it's to not settle, especially when youre spending this kind of money.
