Lots of different variables come into play, therefore it is best to get as much information as you can beforehand:
1) center bore
2) bolt pattern
3) a) offset
b) wheel width
c) tire size/ratio

Everything is important. The newest generation X5's have a smaller center bore than our F25 X3's, so they will not fit. The current gen X1's are based off the front wheel drive Mini platform so per earlier post, they probably have a different bolt pattern. Our X3's have 5x120 bolt patterns, which I believe majority are 5x120.

I believe the first two generation X5's have the same center bore. Would definitely research that as well. If they are bigger, you can always buy an adapter/sleeve but if they are smaller, you're out of luck.

Lastly, part 3 is pretty difficult....general rule of thumb is, if you have a wider wheel, you'll need a lower offset for the wheel to clear and not rub anything. A way around that would be to buy a narrower tire and "stretch" it onto the rim...more common with the "hella flush, stanced" crowd. Or to buy spacers. But again, this is just a rule of thumb and not always the case.

My personal experience: I have the M Sport wheels, which are 245/45r19 but I bought a set of X5 wheels that are running 255/55r18. They barely fit, just a couple of MM away from rubbing part of the strut and they will rub the fender liner when reversing on full wheel lock. I wouldn't have this issue if I was running a smaller ratio tire or narrower tire or running spacers (which I personally don't recommend).

Hope this helps!
Were you running X5 wheels 18x8.5" with +48 offset on the X3 F25 without any spacers? Does the rim or wheels rub against any components on the front, considering stock 18" size for the X3/X4 was like 18x8" +43 offset or if they were M Sport like 19x8.5" +38 offset. Thanks
