There is a huge backlog of cars at the port due to seat belt modules and other issues which have finally been corrected. Trucking companies don't have the capacity to move the cars right now. There is 48 hour rule that once released to trucking, the car must be transported by the trucking company. This isn't happening because there are no available trucks.

I called the terminal manager at the trucking company to put my car on a truck. He put my car on a truck carrying Mercedes and had the truck driver drive to my dealer first for drop off.

My car was delayed for 10 days after release. Luckily it came without a scratch or ding.
