Not so much a reply to the OP, since the deed is done and he has his reasons for making the switch, but you don't need an SUV to haul around one or even two kids. Why people suddenly feel the need for giant SUVs and minivans once kids come along is a complete mystery ...
... then again, if I was hauling around an overpriced Bugaboo stroller that doesn't fold down for cr@p, I guess I might need an SUV too. Seriously, get a Maclaren (stroller, not F1).
