I'll give you the "passionate enthusiast" part, you definitely fit that profile. But to say that you are "informed" about a car that is a year away and that most of the information available on forums is pure gossip, you lost me there.

Also don't forget the competition, there will be at least two cars going against the M3 by 2008. I certainly plan to look at them before locking down the M3.

I am defintiely not one to say I know for sure, in advance of a cars release, what it's specs will be. If you cruise around on this board you will see I am quite quick to criticize folks who seem to swear they know about specs when all of us know almost nothing for sure (damn it sure is fun to make educated guesses, though). I simply beleive history will repeat itself and by knowing (and owning) quite a bit of the history I'd say I am fairly well informed. Glad we are ending this small debate on better terms. Cheers.
