I live in one. Just don't put it on. They only issue a ticket if you get pulled over for something else. i.e.. speeding, running red light etc.  |
In San Francisco the fucking meter maids will give you a ticket if you're parked on the street without a front plate, sometimes even if you don't get a ticket for anything else.
I've gotten 3 so far. Like $120 each. They're fixit tickets so I just keep my plate on my towhook mount in the trunk, pop it on, get signed off, pop it back off.
