Don't put words in my mouth - I said AWD/4WD cars have more traction under acceleration that a comparably equipped RWD car, not that they "perform better."
As for being smart enough, clearly you are ignorant and not in a position to argue the capabilities of an M3 on snow tires without ever having tried it.
