remember when bangle tried to do that with the 7 series in 2002? Yea, not well received. general public is too conservative to appreciate true envelope pushing designs.
What I wish for is for automobiles to look like functional art forms like they did from the 20s-70s. Of course they are much more designed for efficient functionality today since today's engineering is far superior.
