was driving into seattle yesterday morning and got a engine malfuntion and reduced power warning. pulled over to the side and shut it down for a minute then restarted and it was cleared. took it to bmw seattle cause i was headed right by there anyway, qwest field. found out i have 30 or so codes related to charging issues. said that sometimes when i shut the car down it doesnt properly go to sleep mode i think? they charged up the battery and sent me on my way. great service shuttled me to and from my original destination. i was pretty stressed because i have track day tomorrow and was like oh great now my car is screwed up. glad it wasnt anything mechanical. have it on the trickle charger for the next day and should be fine. they also probably thought whats up with this car. i had my track wheels on it, the head rests and floor mats where out, the trunk trim was all stripped out. oh well they already know i do some driving days.
