When you describe it like that, it sounds normal to me. Is there any vibration/feedback coming through the shifter? Or just a sound?
If it's the latter, I think it is perfectly normal - just the 'clunking' noise from changing gears. I get this sound occasionally with higher shift modes (S4-S5).
