How do you know he is correct? that is a lie. You are not the only M3 owners here. And his point is asinine and very wrong. You cannot get an accurate reading from the key reader if you do not place it into the slot prior to arriving at the dealership. This is fact and is proven.
If you're talking about plugging the car up to a GT1 or something... totally different scenario.
