Future cost is a concern, in my case i use different settings. On close to perfect roads(rare) I'll use the stiffest. Normal most of the time. Comfort with the wife, certain passangers, etc. If you can handle being in the middle and save some money go for it.

edit: Stiff on great roads is incredible, response, feedback, sway, everything.
