Definitely! When I get sideways in the M3, I am trying to get it to stop sliding so I don't lose speed. Lifting the throttle, coaxing it back into line. Not to mention shit a brick if you are close to a wall or the edge of the pavement.
The Evo? Just give it more throttle.
