Played around with the latest face-lifted S65 on the motorway the other day. I caught up with him and he started getting on the gas. It didn't seem that much faster if at all on high speed when giving it all. My E92 DCT is totally unmodified but we were running neck and neck above 200 km/h, it was not very scientific since there was some traffic and each of us was getting on the gas at not exactly the same time. It was clear though that he was being pegged back at around 265-270 by a limiter at which point I would fly past him (I have the M drivers pack but have seen over 300 in a few occasions). After a couple of minutes I let him go because of wife screaming and fear that my almost completely shot PS2s wont cope well with the high speeds for long. I like the S class a lot but was a little surprised as I thought the S65 would offer near supercar levels of acceleration which was clearly not the case.
