As far as an LED option goes, what the hell is the problem/taking so long. People obviously want these. LED angel replacements exist. Orange smt led's exist. People who can rework them exist if units in production numbers aren't justifiable. What is the problem??
I don't want to violate forum rules but if somebody wants to send me a set of led angels I can have them reworked to be orange (and function properly, I'm EE working in electronics manufacturing). I'm not sure what the led's will cost, I've never seen what type the current units use but I can acquire components at quantity prices once I determine what’s needed. I'm not looking to make any money (scoring a set when it's all said and done would be cool though
)
