Lets keep it simple and stick to OIL CHANGE only.
So far, we have some decent variation in mileage, which appears to correlate (roughly) with how people believe they drive. There is at least one poster that has several track days already too. The cars (most of them) with lower mpg indicate about the 15K mark for oil change. The one poster with nearly 18 mpg indicates nearly 17,000 miles. Interesting... keep the data/post comin'.
I plan to change my oil every 5K. I am not too worried about the lubrication part of the oil, rather the additives that get consumed from it. Also, contamination from fuel adds to it. For me, its 5K intervals, period. IMHO, it is cheap insurance.
