Remember that an RS4 Cabrio weighs about 300 lbs more than the RS4 4-door sedan, and has much less chassis stiffness. This tends to skew the driving results a bit, since the Cab has a 7.5% weight penalty over the Sedan, and we all know that the RS4 Sedan is already a porker.
However, it does go to show just how well-matched the M3 and the RS4 are. Both are great cars, for different reasons. As soon as the M3 hits the streets in the US, I'll be admiring it, as I do all fine automobiles.
